Hi backcreek I know how you feel I've been on dirt bikes all my life have broken everything except left arm and leg just stopped riding 8 months ago and started prospecting much !safer! we don't heal like we did and the wife don't crack it because I'm broken and can't move .Hope you heal soon and get back to it .Till then what are mates for.

That's the spirirt, you'll heal up mate. I snapped my wrist falling out on a wheel barrow (long story) and after having a cast on for a week I got bored and was finding ways to use the hard exoskeleton for every day tasks. Detecting should be possible with a little ingenuity.

Managed to get out with the GMT on the weekend with the broken wing but didn't find anything worth noting, just lots of junk.
I was a bit dusty on Saturday Morning after a 4am finish but it was good just to get out of the house and away for the weekend.

Well, I'm finally back at work after 3 months off.
I've used all my sickies and all my annual leave up and I have 3 hours leave left.
I supposed the next thing is to give the wrist a go at digging, that will be the acid test.
