I have joined your community because I have a question. I live in BC Canada and am a member of the Selkirk rock and mineral club. Someone in our area has a tourist attraction where he has salted paths with different rocks and minerals. I bought a rock there and was told by our club that it is jasper.
My friend and I have just returned from the rock and mineral show in Tucson and I saw my rock in the tent area where they had raw ore from Australia. I sure would like to know what it is for sure. It was freezing that day and I thought I would remember the name but……I think it started with Moo but I am not sure.
Please if anyone knows I would interested to know for sure . Thanks
