Sounds like a good outcome and I would imagine you will ask for and get a extraordinary written warranty for that vehicles engine from them , like 1 to 3 years or 50,000 klm and a free check up in 6 months when the weathers hot.

I'm glad your on the right path atlast and hope it's trouble free from here on in.
 
I'd only put up with a cooked engine if it was mine already .... but that's me

This is the problem buying second hand, your just buying someone else's problems, I've been able to fix most of the problems myself on my Hippo but had to fork out a **** load of money to have the main seal replaced.
 
Well, I sure hope Ken has had some joy this week with the Mitsy.!...No word from him yet on the progress of repairs...doesn't surprise me in the slightest!...having spent some quality time with him over the last few years, I know that he'll have nothing to say until he has something to say.., :D if that makes any sense.
When he goes 'Low and Dark'...I know to just give him space and keep out of his road! :cool: :Y: I would not like to be the car salesman who's walking about with his tongue ripped out and a sharp pencil stuck in his brain via an eye socket! :lol: :lol:
I can well appreciate his frustrations over this unfortunate episode..it's like...What do you have to do to get an even break for cry'n out loud! :8
Like with anything he takes on...he's put his heart into this vehicle...new tyres, radios storage space..the whole gambit of gear and then!...and then, pop goes the weasel! :awful: one great big kick in the guts!...Whatever goes on from here on in, I just hope the people involved do the right thing and he ends up with what he paid for at the end of the day. That's certainly is not and never will be too much to ask surely...just say'in...and if not that well, I hope he gets a full refund and finds the truck he bloody only too well deserves! Heres to you mate :beer: ...Reefer.

Just been diagnosed with sleep apnoea so now I have to sleep hooked up to a machine, it sucks getting old
