hit a spot that RJ, and I have done a few times. Reckoned it had more to give, I was kinda rite. The 1895 vic penny was about 6 inches down, but what was interesting, is that a 1 cent was 3 inches above it....and that the TID was a pretty stable 65, on 12khz. I used fulltones for the hunt, starting to get the hang of it now.

You fellas were missing a little bit back in the old days ,... quite a few targets thete RKT ,... be able to grid it by the looks of that lot.
Still pulling PD's out of it.

Looks like you are getting used to the Deus Rocket, picked a good range of targets there, and the 1895 penny is a welcome sight.

I rarely deviate from using Fulltones, it definitely gives the most tonal info out of the suite of programs on offer.

Thought I had my first complete cap gun.....finally! But no, just pieces, everything but the barrel, and its a lone star. In truth, reckon I did contribute to its destruction, upon extraction.

Damned skanky roos, they just don't seem to have the desirability of the other pre-decs these days, although still nice to unearth one on a quiet day. Pity about the pistol Rocket, seems lucky to find one these days in fully intact condition - there's always super glue.

I don't mind the skanky roo's sometimes, usually silvers nearby. Pretty much all they are good for though.....
