Hi Rocket,
Keeping fit was one of several reasons I purchased the CTX3030; through the hot months there is not much fun gold detecting in 30 degree plus heat, though the rewards can be exciting, night detecting and keeping the snakes company is the way to go during hot weather. That said though, being able to have a swing a few minutes from home is a big plus for me and it's nice to be able to come home to the cool of the air conditioning and a cool beverage mid summer.
Keep the interesting finds coming mate.
