My CTX 3030 Finds

I only get a couple caps here and there now, first couple times I went out I got heaps. I have sorted most of that

Went for a swing today (yes at 5:30am) and came home with:

2x $2 coins
7x $1 coins
2x 10c
1x 50c
4x 20c

Not a bad coin collection for 1hr 40mins on a rivers edge.

But the item that has me stumped the most is pictured below, about the size of a 5c coin.

Could be, barely goes past my nail on my pinky. Might fit a female's pinky better... :lol:

That's what I'm thinking it is or something that hangs off a necklace. Seems to be copper also.

I was also thinking it could be like a woggle for a thin scarf or something.

Doing some detecting at a mine area in SA.

My uncle was lucky enough to find a 1876 Penny just lying on top of the surface while walking around

I've never seen a screw with a number on it before. Lucky uncle, eagle eyes!

Here's more from the same area:

1948 Penny with a bullet hole in it.

A button of some type, clip on the back. I have a smaller one also probably for down front of uniform.

This is from a old horse carriage, held a light/torch on the side.

It was ripped out of an old train track sleeper that was buried..

Yeah buttons are everywhere. Another bloke who detects in this part of SA is finding buttons everywhere also.

The area was very trashy and the CTX is doing a great job at separating the trash from good stuff now. I rarely dig up rubbish now.

I just like finding stuff for my own collectable reasons, I might Google some buttons to find the history of them.

That's my favorite find in this batch also.

I collect too and not for sale ( finds are too good to get rid of ) but i always like to know a rough cost for insurance purposes and also just knowing value of items.

Been seeing less and less caps now, getting use to the sounds etc... :lol:
