Hi thanks for adding me to this group.

I am wanting to have this rock tested here on the Gold Coast. It was my fathers and it was given to him from a great uncle that struck gold in Kalgoorlie in the 1800’s

The significance is It was the tracer? Or something similar, meaning it was the start of his strike. It is supposed to be rich in metals more precious than gold? Any comments or advice would be much appreciated.

Phone up gold buyers on the coast and ask if they have an XRF and will test for gold and platinum group metals.

Prob cost you $100 to have it tested in front of you.
