Pretty sure its a half penny. I don't usually bother cleaning coppers only enough to get the date. Cheers.

Got one of them mini steam cleaners, would do the job nice
The one with the vacuum head and a little jet for cleaning bathrooms
Gave some toasted ones a run and did better than I could do with a tooth brush

The Half penny was a good find, looks like an 1826 George IV example going by the design.
