Thanks 7.62 I had no idea what it is (spikey thing) & yes both plastic & brass shells 2 different sizes. Yes a known training area .The watch is soaking . It is small maybe a nurses watch . Thanks guys I just keep plugging away. Cheers

7.62mm the large ones and 5.56mm m16 the smaller ones nice finds
anything that you find there SHOULD be blank or inert/training however always pays to be careful
