If no mint mark present then the 1915 penny is a reasonably scarce coin (minted in London), also a very nice chunky gold ring.

Did well on the silvers and the gun is also a cool item for the vintage toy display. :Y:

I have not posted here for a while.
I went to Melbourne beach early in the morning and beat beach cleaning monster and found many goldies.
Also I think I found my first rising sun badge but not sure as this one is so flimsy and small...

I guess Summer is over now. I wish I lived closer to beach! It is best to do in the evening :sunny:  :money:

Ah yeah, I also killed Rising Sun with shovel as I honestly thought it was Aluminium can as it was so loud! Shame 8.( !

Hunt results from Yesterday. 11 inch standard coil was used. My best find would be a key with 3 holes and scout button with shank intact. I used DEEP program because I was not finding. But standard deep program sound is very bad. All sound same! I must install Sonnar program.

The site has some age to it going by that 1865 penny, nice pair of silvers too. Can't say I have used the deep program, probably wouldn't suit a junk laden house site. Usually if I want a bit more depth I just drop the reactivity in the hot program, and possibly up the audio response to enhance the deeper targets (although you will lose some modulation). :D

Nice find Capa, the silversmith was Rotherham & Sons from Birmingham - they operated from 1887 to 1914. As for reactivity, yes 5 is way faster than 2.5. :D

No specific site, google usually leads me to a good site with the right key words. ;)
