Yobskin thanks for the quick reply.
Yesterday was a bust, mostly just testing out the sluice and looking the place over. It has changed a bit over the last 12 months, fresh diggings here and there and yes there was more water flowing in the creek that was a bonus. Realised in the race to drive up the chairs and buckets were left at home, so knees had a workout and not as much dirt was moved as I'd liked, still I had fun.

I'll be back today for a few hours and probably early tomorrow before we head up to Blacksnake.

Yobskin, thanks for showing me around yesterday and introducing me to the mob. Unfortunately, no gold in the pan today but I did find the black sand, so, the gold can't be too far away. Fingers crossed I make it back up during the school holildays. Next time I'll remember to pack the buckets...
