What coils would be best for the 4500 in WA. I have some older coils but I understand the more modern coils are much better?

Probably a 12" evo coil would be my recommendation. Wouldn't worry about other sizes and just take what you have. Even the older coils have been responsible for finding heaps of gold in WA and would still be capable of doing it.

The 14 inch camo coil from coiltek is a great all rounder for small and big nuggets..Smaller coils will quickly run out of depth..

I agree with Geoff, I don't think you can beat the 12" Nuggetfinder evo on the 4500 or the 5000.

I've almost always used the 14" Coiltek Elite. It's an excellent match to the 4500 but is quite heavy. One year I had a sore shoulder so I swung the 11" Commander that comes with the machine and found it a great coil as well. I'm not a fan of NF but that's just me.
