I thought I had damaged it but it was only surface rubbing of the black gunk. Cheers mate...

Today a bucket lister....
I also did a quick mini park dig 4 x $2 coins all recent drops.

Cleaned a little with more to do....I think it may be Zinc...

Nice find GD, love findng any sort of comemmorative medallion. I think you will find it is made of bronze and gilt coating - issued to school children at the time.

Finally got another dig in with Kiara, we hit 2 beaches only because it's been hot, happy with the Beach silver and a Pandora Charm A$49.00 My god they must be making a fortune .......
Did someone lose their car collection....My goodness I am running out of room....

The toy cars ring up so high they sound just like big silver rings....Oh well it's still cool to find them.

Maybe I should have hit the beach too yesterday, wasn't exactly good weather for relic hunting. Usually when I find those toys cars at the beach, I was always hoping that mom's jewellery and coins were nearby - nice work GD. :Y:
