Yes mate it was a very good day made even better by having Kiara interested again, but her first love is gold panning....She's just like Dad in a lot of ways, when my wife and I would pick her up from school my wife would say, my god she walks just like you, a real tom boy but also a princess....haha :Y:

Family fun in the Sun....Beach is packed from the last day/night of the Food Festival.....Maybe a dig tonight and maybe not.
Angelica got her first ring.... Mum, Myself and Kiddies had fun.

Absolutely great day and with Summer around the corner there will be many more.

I went tonight for some fun and $5 coin spill, $1,45 coin spill, $4 coin spill, $3 coin spill....It was great and it didn't take long for me to finish the section I wanted to do before coming home, all thanks to the 10" DD Round.
Scored a pair of Sunnies and a Summer Cap...Woop...

So I decide to go for a dig late last night.
I get to the beach where I found the Ring and Silver Bracelet and while walking down to the surf I hit on a $2 coin right away.....
For the next 10-15 mins I get nothing and then noticed someone walking towards me then standing still just watching me and as I got closer he says gidday, I replied gidday mate how ya going.
He looks at me and says Golddiggerart? Me looking a little shocked said yup that's me mate.
His name was Ray and he said when he saw the headlight walking up and down the beach he figured it must be a detectorist.
He and a mate had worked the beach for a few hours and got a few coins and so my night was looking pretty grim considering I knew how packed it was with the hot weather.
Oh and btw he knew me from my Youtube Channel...lol
Anyway we chatted for a while and then parted ways and I went off to a trusty spot that saved my night.
It was fun and I have a plan for the weekend which I hope is not shattered by too much rain, doesn't matter anyway I have a waterproof coil and a rain cover.

Well tonight I got restless so heading down to the beach and hit on a spot I thought would be good considering the last three days being 28 - 30 - 30 but how wrong I was.....Nothing but trash even with the beach cleaner going over it on Monday....
I noticed a figure getting closer to me every time I turned around to do another line with the detector....There were also 2 blokes a woman and 2 dogs further along.
The guy finally decided to get close and I hear a voice say, mate do you have a spare ciggy, he knew I had some because I lit one when I got down there and I turned around and said yeah man here ya go, the dude was standing there with his clothes rolled up under his arms and he was stark naked and I thought to myself you know what if he wants to run around nude good on him.
I gave him a smoke and he went on his way down the track, more than likely back to his car before the other three with the dogs came back.
I left that spot and went to another section of beach which gave up a ring on my first signal, Pandora 925 Ale 60.....A few coins which I am happy with and even though they are only crumbs I'll take em especially since I have never gotten more than $12 from this beach on a good week.

Going to be doing a few beaches on Saturday morning with my daughter Kiara so until then best of digs to everyone.

I have an old camera lens which magnifies as good as a loupe.

And yes it is nice to be outdoors and not stuck indoors all day, the reason I never took a job sitting behind a desk. :Y:

So today being Saturday I thought I'd get out for an early dig on the beach.....I left home around 5 am and got to the beach around 5:10 am then started digging around 5:30 am after I had noticed the beach cleaner had done a second day....The BUGGER I thought to myself, I had planned this day out and it looked like it was going to turn to shite......
I deliberately left the beach even after the hottest day because the cleaner always does a Monday.....
Anyway my best spot was clean and I only managed a $2 coin What was I to do but use my experience to get something decent for my time.
Well I hit where the Dry and Wet sand meet and picked up a few coins, 20c $1 and $2....It was looking very bleak and so I went to do the platforms.
There are two and teenagers always sit underneath them and lose there coins....Platform one was good to me with a $6.70 coin spill.....Platform 2 had a $4 coin spill....The dunes were also good to me.
I new I'd have to walk miles to get a haul so I called it a day after around 1 and a half hours.
Was going to do plan B but with the weather turning sour I decided to come home as there is always another day.
