Webt out today. Nice deep 88 signal turned out to be this old queensland scouts button. Perfect condition. Lovely patina. Some old tweezers, 43 threepence, spoon, a very light rock that signaled 18 on detector. And some lovely old buckles lovely design and print on them says Prima, Solid. They look quite old. Any ideas?

Went out for a hunt in the old bush again. A nice 942 six pence d mint, and a 1956 shillling.
also i think i may have found an old reserve bank safe or chest. Too many large pieces to bring home whichwere very ornate. Crosses on the side, besutiful top with markings on it which ill bring back when i have the time. I did manage to bring home the front door. The handle looks like silver?? But im not sure. This chest was buried quite deep by a tree. Still need to investigate further. I had dug up part of the box early this year however thought it was just an old army grill, howwrong i was. I dug up therest today to discoverthis lovely piece.
any ideas what the R means?

and also found this old bottle intact with lid still on. The bottom reads nugget

Boot polish bottle,... coke stove flue door maybe, from an old Rayburn coke stove,.. the flue was a bit like a choke for the air flow. Nice Silvers score TM

Not sure im curious about the pellets and what age they may be. Also the ball of iron to me looks like it was a canon ball from a small canon??

I might be on to a good spot. About an hours hunt. Some very old rusted iron targets. Didnt stay too long as the rains started to fall.
is this an old bangle? What era is this likely from?

Another interesting item. Not sure what it was for? However after a quick tooth brush and soapy water reveals a C and 19. Not sure what it could have been used for. Is the c19 19th century?

It looks like some sort of retaining clip
Kinda like a circlip ... Could be totally wrong
whatever it is it looks old, or is from ww2 era. i still have no idea.
last few hunts have delivered little. far from the treasure. one spot had these interesting nails i got over digging them and left several behind.
an old spot i went back to briefly, revealed a florin
and the same area delivered the smaller old lead bullet.
several forks and an old knife. also came across a very old a1960s radio however left it behind as it was completely ruined and dirt ridden.
the first location, first target within a few mins was the large 19th century lead bullet. beautiful condition. close but still no cigar.

Musket balls are on my bucket list, guess the areas I have hunted, just arent old enough to get them. Top hunt :)

I know a spot that's musket ball city. All musket ball to.ds come from the same area. I wonder what was happening there back then. Shooting at aboriginals perhaps. Surprised nothing else more interesting hasn't popped up yet. Or an early Convict t colonh
