Hi Heatho,
Gota love the weight in an ice cream container full of decimal spends, now its time to start filling it up again, those dollars will cover off some new gear like additional coils.
Cheers, SinHof.

Very nice indeed. You must have a container like that full of Florins too ahh? :D

I wish mate. :D

What to spend it on, Ha just got me back a bit above even after todays bills I had to pay...... :( $460 on rates and 280 on gas, plus a rego coming up in a few weeks.

Yeah will probably get a 10x5 coiltek coil for the CTX soon though. :)

Got out for a couple of hours this morning, it's still very muddy at my spot so I wasn't very keen but still had a go, I got quite a few pre dec coins but only 1 silver being a shilling and a small silver ring.

Also my friend got home from America this morning and showed me the pendant she had made up over there with a Sapphire her brother gave her last year for her birthday, it's a blue on green 3ct Aussie sapphire set in 14k white gold surrounded by small diamonds, was not as expensive as you would think to have made over there and the craftsmanship is superb. They did an appraisal for her also and I nearly fell over when she told me the value...... Natural untreated sapphires are very expensive in the USA. :)

You sixpence magnet Heatho, the CTX must be dialled in on those things. :)

11:31 -11:33 for the post 1946 ones and 11:41-1145 for the pre 1946 ones. :p The post 46 ones are really easy to call, I'm almost 100% right on them when I call it, any TID with a 33 flashing around in the conductive side is usually one on this sportsfield.

The pre 46 ones are right in the 2c coin range on this spot, which makes them a bit harder to call.

The BB's though are easy to call, I watch the ferrous side for them and they waver from 12 to 16 or 17 on the ferrous reading from different directions, silvers ferrous side generally stays pretty stable but not always. I'm leaving a lot more BB's in the ground these days and just not even bothering to dig them there are so many, something for the next generation of swingers to find.

How generous of you leaving those BB's for future generations. :D I'm sure kids starting out wouldn't mind digging a few of them, might be considered the predecimals of the future rather than pesky items. ;)

An advantage the ctx must have then, I can call an 89 one cent, and 94 a two cent on the deus, but it can also be silvers or pennies.
