LOL

The park is 100 meters from a beach so it's all sand. Some of the older coins are about 30 cm and toasty from the salt.

On the higher ground it's all clay, hence why some of the penny's have been eaten beyond recognition.

I think that I'm coming to the end of this chapter as the coins are much harder to find. Majority of these would have been missed by the average detectorist that looks for solid signals.

The awesome thing about the ctx with the 6" is the separation. The amount of times that I have found 4 or 5 ring pulls and a three pence underneath them in the same hole.

I tried using the 17" and the 11" and I couldn't detect with them after using the 6" and the 10x5. Totally different type of detecting.

Easier going smaller than larger.

Just cashed in 3 months worth of spendables. Gotta find more parks.

would have been $68.66 richer if it had run through an account,.. wow DJ,.. they don't miss you on their cut hey.
Great 3 monthly score though. :D

Yep that's criminal, if your an account holder it shouldn't cost you zip, i would definitely look into that ;)

Name the bank so i don't do business with them :|

since when do Australians have to pay for cashing in legal tender at a bank?
and to think i was a bit pissed at the nab cause they made me seperate all coins into seperate bags so they could weigh them, from my grandkids coins i buy there presents with every year,

They charge you a fee if you do not hold an account with them, otherwise it should be free if through your own bank. Bagging coins is also nothing new, been doing that for years through our bank, plus you can hide any bent/corroded coins in the packets and they just them out of circulation. ;)

5% for non account holders is still a rort

We should get a bonus finders fee for put the coins back in circulation.

All financial institutions should have coin counters.

The sh$t thing about st George is that they have a big sign on the machine that if you don't claim your money on the same day, you loose it.

Seems like theft to me.
