My wife and I bought a GPX4500 Christmas 2022 and went to Ballarat Australia Day 2023 to try it out where I injured my ankle. (out of action for a while) Then later in 2023 we were hit by another car head on and we are still recovering from that. We have tried to get out to the triangle so we can learn more and have a relaxing time in the bush. Has been a long journey trying to get into this hobby but hopefully we’ll be out there soon. Has been great being able to read of everyone’s escapades while recovering. Hope to get out to Clunes area soon to give it a try.

Mate, rather than derail this new member's thread by responding to you here, could you please start a thread of your own so that some experienced members can maybe offer helpful advice. Three years using a well-proven detector is too long to be without nuggets, I reckon - if I can help at all I'll be only too happy to and hopefully others will pitch in too.
