Five hour hunt across 2 days with great results.

$16 in spendables

40 silvers

40 penny's and halfs

Mansfield Hotel token

A few other bits and pieces ( pins, buttons, skeleton key, silver chain and usual brown buggers)

Awesome day, can't wait to put on the 17" and go deeper as I'm sure there is plenty more.

Until next time.

Sensational effort Dejan, you certainly have some honey holes to pick over. Did you finish up on that racecourse, or onto a different spot now. :)

Thanks goldpick.

The racecourse is on ice at the moment.

This place seems a lot more interesting.

It was a playground for the rich from the early 1800's to 1960. Now it's just forgotten bush.

I recognised a land mark in a picture of gentlemen having a picnic and located it.

It was funny as I got a 12.31 signal today and that only means sovereign or ring.

I cut a plug and this yellow coin pops out and my heart stopped.

Bloody sixpence turned yellow from the soil.

With that much silver, there has to be one around.

That's all very nice to see DJ,....sensational couple of days worth of finds(lotsa silvers there).     :D

Yes, I hate that when those 50% silvers get that yellowish tarnish, causes a few heart stopping moments. The 50% 3p does hit around 12:28 -12:30, so it's in the ballpark of that elusive coin. Your new area looks to have some promise thanks to some good research, good luck with your sovereign hunt. :)
