There was a court case back in the day. The last of its kind. Took years to resolve , some many think its still going?

Very close. the area we are talking about is around 500 sq miles. The error happen in 1836

Basically correct. Its was a human error in 1836. When a surveyor place the peg on 141 line accidentally taking 500 sq miles of SA , the court case took 75 years to get Vic to pay up 215,000 pounds , SA wanted 800,000 pounds
