Haha indeed. Well done mate, I'm in the same boat, found 11 pieces now with the biggest being a tad over 1/2 a gram. I haven't weighed the little ones but I reckon some are .1 at most. Got some scales on the way as speak. Interested to see what they weigh.

Yea its a cool looking piece of gold. That brings the tally to 13 sun gram pieces so far.
Might have to change the name on the side of my detector to SDC 4500 haha

Yea that's it mate. Just gotta get the coil over it. The bigger piece in that pic was a screamer. Sounded like a 22 casing on the surface. Had a bit if a hollow sound through the stroke. I dig every signal as I've found some of my bits have let off a funny sound. I'll even dig the screamers as I couldn't handle wondering if I've left yellow in the ground!

Haha me too mate. I dig everything. .. occasionally i walk away and then go back... last week i went back at night time to finish a 50cm hole.... was a bloody piece of rusty iron the size of a tea plate but one day mate

My scales arrived today. Amazed that I got this 0.04 piece. I have to put it on the scales a few times to get it to register. This is almost SDC territory.

Here's the total findings from my handfull of outings. Can't wait to get back out for a swing.

awesome walshie.... that 0.04 is a ripper. best way to weight the little buggers is to get something larger i.e glass vial and tare the weight off then drop it in. you'll get a much more accurate reading. 2.3 grams for your first month detecting not bad at all mate..

Yea I'm stoked with how's its been going. Can't wait to get a 15x12 or a 14" nf enclosed and cover a bit more ground and get a bit more depth.
