    That normally happens when there's too many of the same type of mineral floating around. Most collectors look for harder to get minerals, stuff that is less common and from old closed mines etc.

    Could be made here but cheap Chinese metal. When I was doing boiler-making 20 years back a plate of steel come into the factory from China and we had to run a portable oxy cutting beetle machine over it, we kept getting little blow backs from when it hit little air bubble pockets in steel...

    Got one mosquito in my office, no matter how much I spray the ******* won't die. Have swatted it a couple times but keeps flying into shadowy spots so I can't see it :argh:

    Yep, my relatives in SA do it and the money they get back pays for a lunch out etc. Doesn't take them long to have heaps of cans and bottles again.
