Se QLD clouds fuzzy on the bottom..... tells us it is a tropical low.... fuzzy on the top as well would be imminent(be looking to see which direction the V formation if birds would be heading then ... cause they will head away from where it will hit land... if they are going straight inland then it's time to batten down the hatches)

The water level is still getting higher

I am waiting to see if any sharks start to swim pass

Might have to get my fishing rod out :lol:

If I don't laugh I will end up crying :)

In the park there is a kind of lake that gets it water through a storm pipe that aloud some fish to come in..am thinking I will have a fish in that after the storms and rain go away :D
 
Yes LW i did read that Kennedy Street in Tweed Heads is under. I Brissie, the rain has been intermittent just enough to stop you from doing anything outdoors however, i did go to my favorite toystore yesterday and bought some veggie seedlings, which i have put in and with the rain i should be harvesting tomorrow hahaha.

Don't fish any storm water Goody for eating fish :argh: more than likely to be contaminated, sewerage and who knows what :8 Good luck with what your dealing with, not good news for many.

Was raising (lightly) at 3.30 this morning when I got up. Been on and off all day but nothing to worry about. Infact it's welcomed rain and if it keeps up at this rate it will be a nice autumn drench and set us up for a good start to winter hopefully.
 
I maybe selfish, but have I roofers due to start replacing my entire roof with Colorbond tomorrow.
Currently rusted and leaking tin. Looks crap.
Full scaffolding was set up on Friday. Looking forward to a roof that doesn't leak!!!!!
Don't think they'll be able to start till later in the week - damn, but may be in for more plaster ceiling damage with the expected rain
Sorry though for all that are flooding.........
 
I don't eat the fish out of there RM Outback

The pipe is to let seawater in an out as the lake is saltwater

Water can go in when there is a high tide and some fish swim on in

Yep, had to go to work this morning to deal with an emergency, drenching rain and cyclonic winds off the ocean carrying so much moisture one of the buildings 3 phase distribution boards exploded :awful: been a long day... :(

Yeah I was thinking of you when I saw it,

You need to pack some bags in case you have to get out quick with food etc,

Bugger this is the second time you have been through this in a few months,

Over here it can rain for weeks on end but it does not rain as hard as it does back home and the thunder storms here are little more than a mouse fart, :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
To late ... my road in and out has been closed

Just got a message telling me that there is another landslide around near the other one

So that is it we are not going anywhere :(

Best make that two massive landslides as I just had a update on it

So that makes 3 landslides in a couple of days :(
