I am only new to these forums but I must agree with the OP at this stage.
I have been a member of quite a few forums over the years through various hobbies etc and the welcome I received just in the " introduce yourself " area here was an excellent and welcome howdy.
Oh and I also like a good hotdog with bacon, onion and all the trimmings.

Yeah, i didn't agree with Tim on most of his 'bolshie' posts, but he was consistent and good value imo, he wasn't offensive and didn't get personal that i could see. Some members must have been offended because he was 'tapped on the shoulder by the mods' i think and asked to tone it down and from what i could see he must have felt he was being censored.
Anyway, i personally hope he comes back because apart from his over the top 'establishment' views he was an excellent contributor to the forum with a lot of knowledge and i personally miss his contributions.

And it still is....and its getting better!!!
My first year was a bit slow learning doing the whole solo thing but now im having meet ups with great people wanting to learn from me!!! I have helped over 50 new prospectors this past year...and loved every shovel full of it.
The forum is what it is a place for disscussion and ideas maby not every ones cup of tea but thats what makes it so dynamic!

I tried some local gourmet dogs the other day O boy tasty lil critters... couldnt stop at six but i should have very rich...
The guts was rumbbling all the next morning while shopping with the mrs...made it to isle 4 cut the mustard burnt a hole in me fart filters unexpected turbo boost....tryin to keep a straight face while my nostrils were burning....eyes watering. Got to the end of 4 turned around and watched all the mums walking into it....straight up they get a wif and take another like they enjoyed it....then they start checking nappies ....hahahahahahaha im still chuckling
