Hey mate. I’m in Melbourne and looking to team up, what area do you detect in typically? I want to head out Maryborough way but havnt a clue where to start
Just saw your reply, I'm a newbie at gold prospecting but it wouldn't take long to figure out the maps ect. I currently don't have a metal detector or a gold prospecting license, I get my licence next week. You already have a metal detector?

Peter, I suggest you try an outing with a Vic Detecting Club they go bush monthly. Living in SA, over the years I have camped and detected with the Vic Seekers ( after phoning and getting permission/details etc) and have found them very friendly and helpful, and to me, some/most of their members are great gold finders.
