They are good lookin Avo's hey ! :p

I wish..... :D ..... flowers this year for us at least(plants trying to figure it out) :Y:

I'm still waiting for the garden bed man to arrange a time. I might have to get medium size pots to keep my seedlings growing-some for the whole term. Our dog is loving all the extra room sine we had the 20X10 pool removed. The Cockers nose is an amazing sensory organ. His Bravecto tab came yesterday and he new it was his because he can smell the factory people and the smell left on the box with the 1 3mth long Flea and Tick prevention inside. It's no wonder a lot of airport sniffers are Springer Spaniels or Cocker Spaniels.
I wish I could be out there like Silver with my camera looking at the behavior of insects and grubs thru the night. I'm jealous mate. I have all these seedlings in long rectangular tubs dying to get into the ground.
Got the weed mat and wire fencing to help keep out the possums at night. The Organic Dynamic Lifter soil improver pellets all ready waiting to go. :(

Supply chain problems are everywhere. The company I work for cant get enough replacement chep or loscam pallets atm.

Maybe have one of those electric cattle prods from a produce agency ready for once he walks through the gate.... just to let him know you mean business(and so he charges a more reasonable rate as well... and works much faster too lol) :p

You know i'm not like that Silver..... O:)
I know, I know, sorry there young fella... and you already have enough fertilizer anyways. :/ :poop:

Not much more I can say now.... like with my missus, I'd only be digging myself in deeper.

I'll just sit in the naughty corner for a while :(

Here's my Triffid(thank you John)

It grew so I let it grow where it was in the walkway.
I'm waiting for the buds to bloom purple to harvest them.... going to pop them(all chopped up) into Vodka, to make a tincture(I think that's what it's called).
Getting closer all the time
1636355231_screenshot_20211108-164959_gallery.jpg

Getting a few zucchinis
1636355286_screenshot_20211108-165038_gallery.jpg

And my corn is still short
1636355334_screenshot_20211108-165100_gallery.jpg

But, then the strawberries are still going strong(makes me feel better) :D
1636355403_screenshot_20211108-165122_gallery.jpg

Orchid under the nut tree in flower
1636355445_screenshot_20211108-165145_gallery.jpg

And the compost bin, also under the nut tree has potatoes coming to an end.
1636355517_screenshot_20211108-165239_gallery.jpg

Gunna be a good crop straight out of compost by the looks of it. :p
1636355581_screenshot_20211108-165254_gallery.jpg

And finally, my second set of coffee seedlings(from a tree up the road)
1636355659_screenshot_20211108-165337_gallery.jpg

All up except for one cell
1636355694_screenshot_20211108-165413_gallery.jpg

And the first set(from my own beans)
6 of them never came up, but I was scraping to get enough seed then, so some were getting a bit dubious as to whether or not they would strike at all.... so we are just seeing the seeds of doubt not rising :p
1636355783_screenshot_20211108-165453_gallery.jpg

See some have their first real set of leaves starting(not just the seed leaves).

Exciting times out back...... :D

Hey Silver, you can use the leaves of the nettle to make tea.
Mackka
That scotch thistle do you mean Mackka ?
or a stinging nettle ?

Finally got my thistle flowers into Vodka for the tincture.

And harvested the spuds from the compost bin under the maccadamia nut tree

Growing in between the composted material and the uncompleted top layer(as if it were a mulch layer above them)
1638176359_screenshot_20211129-180826_gallery.jpg

Bit of composted material sticking
1638176429_screenshot_20211129-180843_gallery.jpg

But a quick spray and there's almost a colander full of spuds

Nice to grow a bit of food from the morning sun, all while letting the compost make itself too :p
