Hi Wayne, broke the weed in half, applied the milky sap to cover just the growth, let it dry and put a bandaid over it. Couple of days later I thought this isn't doing anything so repeated the process, but I recon it got sweaty and ran off over the skin.
Very dangerous stuff , I would train everyone (even the dog) to leave it alone.not something to use around your face and or eyes.I'm going to dry some and make an ointment.
This is just something I did for my own self/benefit ..... not advocating for anyone else to use it at all. I like that it's non invasive (only external use or it would burn your gut out).

giving the tiniest tomatoes though

and finally... I've discovered that pawpaws need a good deep soaking in order to be happy enough to set fruit.... still don't like their feet sitting in slop though.

Yeah she's growing beaut OldGT
there's little tomatoes coming off it... but in real deep on the first blooms.
the big ones are normal cherry size for comparison.
nice tasting for their size though.

I thought I'd post it in here Hard Luck, purely because I used a garden product from the veggie patch, and I new avid gardeners would like to see that potential of growing your own redical medical botanics in use.

Shifted enough dirt

added the original composted dirt layer that was there before the bed (was only half way there with it then)

spread it all out....

So... it's all ready to grow
I'll throw my ginger and tumeric in first, then think about the rest

Went to check the cherries I got in late Autumn to see if there was any success, 5 weeks ago there looked like new bud growth, I watered and there has only been one rain event since.

Its dry so I had visions of dead sticks, or roo stripped trunks :argh:

To my surprise they all budded out to new growth and the early one even had a blossom ! :flowers:

Heres pics, the 44s obviously did the job, added new mulch and a good deep water

Veges all out for hardening except peas, beans and pineberries. Apart from the beans everything sailing along beautifully.

I think I already listed everything but heres the non commercial nursery in action.

Theres two beds with 2 x Zuchs, tomato x 3 varieties, pumpkin, cucumber, strawberries and watermelon in.

Bit hard to take a static shot of everything in and out greenhouse, go from 4C overnight to 43 inside greenhouse peaked today (Sat was hotter but I wasnt home in middle of day due to working).

Ive tripled the output of flower/fruit on pineberries since they came in from the east porch, added some worm compost and they taste amazing.

Between the birds figuring out they still ripe when the green, the slugs, and my lack of attention I was only getting the odd early really tart or too late mushy ones, but the last 30 or so have been in the prime moment, they have been a beautiful sweet treat for the effort. :drooling:

Ill wait for more fruit and veg to appear before updating. Peas are forming and the strawberries green, the cherry tomato about seed grape size.

Edit: I had a tomato seedling come up with three seed leaves, and now appears to be throwing up another 3 set of secondary leaves, anyone else seen that happen before? If it grows true I will back cross it to itself to see if its an oddity or a trait, but too early to tell. Ive seen tri seed leaves before then theyve always gone back to regular dual leaves.

Been wonderful driving home waiting to see the changes every day.
