Today I Saw a Native Animal

Had this little sucker in my front yard the other day.

Is this a cat? Perth, riverside.

Seems to have a long nose for a cat.

The bamboo stick is about 12mm diameter.

Cat skulls via Google look nothing like that (barely any nose at all).

It's not a fox:


Some sort of short-snouted dog, I guess.

Was near a busy road so I could have been a dog. The rest was missing, foxes might have cleaned up.
