Today I finished making a box for a mate's hand crafted alchemical chess set made with bronze, clay and hand blown glass.

I hope you like it.

Maybe not prospecting related, but this long wet winter has relegated me to the shed. Have been dabbling with some electronic kits and here is one just completed AND it works. $9.80 from eBay.
You need a magnified light to see the components this day and age. Made up a spring loaded device (kebab stick) to hold resistors/capacitors in place while soldering after two bits flew away into space and not found when using tweezers.

Thanks Guys. Its just on 5ft of solid 1 1/2" solid stainless! The plan is to lift it and just let gravity do the rest as some of you have mentioned.

I know some will be asking why stainless? and so did I however, when the steel guy around the corner gave it to me for free I was going to refuse.

The DIY kit I put together can be programmed to chime on the hour or not.
Chime programmed alarm time.
Chime at programmed low and high temperatures.
Has 60 LED's that can be programmed to flash individually like a second hand as it swings around the clock face. (no sound and no coffee :)
