Been told there is too much bbqing going on by the billies.
So I cooked a corned beef tonight with the mustard and parsley sauce.

There is never to much bbqing HL!!!!

Looks mighty fine that feast you cooked!

I raise your corned meat with a pair of ribs!!! :p

Two racks, one doused in this stuff:

Mustard was involved:

The other wrapped overnight in a mix of smokey and hot bbq sauce:

Its showtime meat!!!

Did a bit of a 3-2-1 with these.
3 hours on, 2 hours in foil with a dash of apple juice, 1 hour out of foil. Kept the "dragon" at 114 deg or thereabouts for the six hours.
Happy with my second ever time cooking ribs and hope it makes everyone hungry!!! :p

The smell of the hickory smoke seemed to get a "paw up" from the cat! 8)

Too much bbq? Phfewey!!! :D

Cheers,
Billy.

Hard luck, Billy and everyone else doing magic on their Webers etc had me craving slow cooked/smoked pork sausages that I like to do on my Weber. But, an early start and a big day out with the kids (a sort of pre-Fathers Day Fathers Day) and about 300 km of driving and leftover BBQ chicken was all I could be bothered with rustling up for dinner tonight.

But, I know what's on for dinner tomorrow night......

The (rather tired) Peacekeeper

Heck,
I just had a slowly rotated Chook on the Barby again tonight.
With Jacket Spuds in foil done with spice and butter.
Drowned by a good bottle of Red. :D :D
.
The Spare Ribs are now freezing in Marinade for this coming Week end when I win the Lotto.
.
That I will take Photo's of.

Dr.Duck that looks damn fine.. I can e-taste it ( new app on android, sarcasm involved .. )

Mate... feel free to invent your own words... Others in the 'so called' real word are doing it
I caught a glimps of something on the box over the weekend.
They have just added "mkay" ...apparently its the same as 'okay'
Damn illiterate kids
Teachers cant teach ... kids dont have to learn...
So now they just make it up as they go along
Go figure

Fired the "dragon" up again after winning a leg of lamb at the "rub a dub"

Stuffed some garlic cloves in it and on the outside a bit of cracked salt and pepper, garlic powder, herbs and olive oil:

Smoked it for a while with some hickory/black oak/mesquite pellets that I wrapped in foil and put on the coals:

Then on to some vegetables:

Turned and basted a few times and took it out to rest for a while when it looked like this:
