Today I COOKED.

Last night's Pea n Ham soup. Better today as it thickens up. Put about a dozen portions in the freezer. So that's Chicken and veg as well. Pumpkin later in the week will stock me up for soup at work on the cold nights ahead.

Another Ye Olde School fav tonight. Corned beef or silverside with white sauce and lots of veg. It's a comfort food time of year.

T bone, absolutely my favourite steak, full flavoured and chock full of goodness. ( well that's what I tell myself ) We used to get our meat home delivered and always ordered t bones, then they dropped them off the selection menu and I rang and asked why, I was told it was a summer cut. I laughed and said are you telling me cattle have no t bones in winter!
They went broke twelve months later sadly as their meat was always top notch.
