Dave I was asked by my new bro in law to go fossicking. Little did i know that iit was snowing at the time but always go prepared. We got to the spot and i got into my gear and got into the centre of the creek where it narrowed and took the pelican pick and filled the brickies sieve and showed him the process. Turned it over on a hessian bag and the light just hit the middle of the throw and the blue sparkled. Next minute, i heard a sploosh and my bro had jumped into the creek behind me in his jeans telling me he wants the pick and the sieve. Been my second best mate for 35 years. First best mate is my wife.

After three cancellations by the contractors, finally the solar panels went on the roof. Inspector came on friday & switched it on. With the weather on the cloudy side, it went as expected...until today.

Friday 9kw, Saturday 12kw, Sunday 9kw, and today a staggering 28.4kw as Ballarat turned on a nice sunny day. Got nothing but a grin ear to ear as the 20c feed in should tally up quite nicely.

Never seen them before but a great idea, just add woollen mittens first. When fossicking at Oberon in winter, I would wear a full wet suit, and scuba gloves. Worked very well.

Standard Glen Innes gear Mackka... Full Dive Suit and Hot water down the back... We made our own Hot Water system... It worked and My Mate still has the Burn scars to prove it...... He was the 'Gunnie Pig'... I was the 'Engineer.'.. We eventually got it to the Right temp...

At the old house I was getting 66c...But that was ending this year anyway, so 20c is the best in Vic

Thats a hell of a lot better FIT than we get in QLD...... best I can find in Brisbane is 5c/Kw, if anyone knows a better FIT in Brissy, I'd love to hear about it

Today I joined the GPZ7000 club. I got advised of a near new unit for sale with a NF Z search coil. Opened the box to find a 2nd battery & the harness was unused.

All those old spots are going to get a decent going over. The only thing left to do is get the settings right & get Deb to do the digging! LOL

Unless otherwise stated Temu apply shipping charges at checkout. I usually put things in my cart until I have $40 worth and then Temu bundle the items together and waive the shipping charge. Shipping time is usually very fast considering it comes from OS.
I also pay the $49 a year for EBay plus and get free shipping as well as discounts there. I don’t know whether it was just a sign up promo but I also got a $450 (10%) discount on my recent on line purchase of a 6000 bundle.
Just pays to check things out.

I agree with eBay plus, it’s saved me thousands over the years, I’ve even bought a fridge from the good guys on eBay, then Click and collected it.
I actually went into the store which was less than a km from my house and asked if they would price match the good guys eBay price, they told me they couldn’t, so I went home bought it through eBay and collected it a couple hours later.

Not a silly question at all Macca.
I purchased a 6000 (ostensibly for my wife) from our local dealer Lucky Strike Geelong late last year. Got a good bundle deal from them and they helped me with a glitch that required the unit to be sent back to Minelab.
Secretly envious of "my wife's" 6000, I felt at some time, I would like to get another for when we detect together.
Then Minelab put the price up by $1000 but were offering a free Coiltek GoldHawk coil to sweeten the new price. Noticed that Aussie Detectorist were selling online and Ebay Plus were offering to provide a 10% discount on specific purchases and the 6000 bundle from Aussie detectorist was one that they covered.
That $450 discount, plus the free coil offer from Minelab and the bundle offered by Aussie detectorist was just too good for me to pass up so decided to use some of the kid's inheritance to buy a second 6000 for me.
The guys at Lucky Strike are great and I will continue to support them as my first port of call.
