Thanks Chewy

Do you have the GPS coords of that gold that's calling out :) I don't seem to hear it where I go.
Rofl, sorry mate the gold didn't have that info to pass on to me, to pass on to you.....guess they must have flat gps batteries. ;)

Only took 8 weeks to arrive but at least the old saying "better late than never" still rings true. I've given the Coiltek 14" Elite a good go and that has proven to be a great coil. Will now run the Evolution against it and see what eventuates. :)

Hey wal i was playing with the nf the other day did you get the harder skid plate for it? Its real tinny on the bottom isnt it. Look forward to your test results

Should be interesting mate as they are both great coils. :/
Yep I've seen a lot of pics of gold found with both of these coils since they hit the shops. I also heard, (and I don't know how true it is) that there is a new nf 18 inch coil on the cards. :D

Just picked it up this arvo mate and it's got the shiny thin looking skid on it.....will give it a real flogging with that skid and find out how long it should realistically last. I'm a scrubber and hard on skids, so it should be interesting as to its durability. The Coiltek one looks more durable....but I've been fooled by looks a few times before. :|

I know they dropped the 14" and now have a 15", which seems to me to be a good decision as the 14 and 17 x 13 would have been too similar to warrant having both.

Yep 18 is due out soon :) did you notice the little valve on top wal? Thats to allow air to flow out when/if it blows up lol bloody Stange thats for sure. Anyway i was told the new hard skid plates would be out soon as an upsell :) cant wait to hear how you go all the same.... they should be the same i reckon but the nf fekt heaps lighter to me

LOL...better not blow up mate.. ...Agree that the NF even though it is lighter, actually "feels" lighter, especially when on an extended shaft. The Coiltek is still quite manageable without the use of the bungy though, and after swinging a ML18"for extended hours they both feel like feathers....albeit water-logged Ostrich feathers. :/

I thought it was so it doubled as a hip flask. :p

Picked up a 6"coil for the CTX3030 but yet to swing it.

Have gotten use to the 17" took a few swings with the 11"and felt like I was going no where....

But the 6" will be great when doing places around rocky places at low tide.
