An Edward VII coronation medal,
A nice little locally made pocket watch fob......
then I heard some hooting and hollering from the scrub where a mate was detecting.....
He pulls out a handful of Victorian and Chinese coins then says look in the hole.....
Am liking that coronation medal. I wonder whether the Chinese prospector buried the sovereign with his coins for safe keeping, a very lucky man with that find! :Y:
Found this funky little chain at an abandoned goldfields settlement the other day. It's silver but can't find any hallmarks so thinking it may be chinese as there were plenty of them in the area.
Another Victoria diamond jubilee medallion, this one has still got most of the gilding intact. Was about 500m away from the last one I found a few months ago.
