Used to always prospect with the old man when i was 6 through to 14 Years old and then lost interest now i've turned 30.The old man still loves it and now hes given me the bug again!

Bought myself a minelab SD2100 to start off and get into the swing of things! erfect:

Can anyone point me in the right directions on laws and regulations on gold detecting. Been a while.

Im here in SA and not sure what the laws are here or what areas you can and cant go.

Any info would help.

I thought i replied but it went missing.

Mt Crawford would be a good test spot but i'm more interested in going further north to Yunta area.

Heard there's a few good spots there however areas are pegged and not to sure where you can go. (dont want to break the law) erfect:
