Backcreek, that was our first outing with AMRA. I didn't make the connection with Hurthawk... I too am subscribed to him but I guess I'm getting a little dense on my old age. It was a good time and Shannon gave us a report of AMRA's plans to address the lawless agencies that are trying to restrict our access and mining activities. It will be interesting to see how everything works out.

I'm watching Shannon's clips as well because I think if it can happen over your way it can happen here, just look at our ridiculous gun laws for example.
So I watch with interest.

backcreek, We are so far away but so close as brothers. I posted another video which is the result of my frustrations with idiots. I whish you and all Australians the best. It seems that we are in this together regardless of location.

You're fighting a worldwide battle there mate and we over here fight the same cause. Life was much simpler when I was a younger lad, and the the so called "do gooders" weren't being brainwashed by the university campuses to join a force focused on locking up all the forests, streams and land outside city limits.

Education on what is necessary to keep the bush in good stead for future generations is what is required...not a blanket closure of activities that use the bush for both a healthy lifestyle and escape from city pressures. Management of the environment is more than a padlock on a gate.

Wal.

It's a shame that we allowed society to indoctrinate multiple generations. The way I see it, is that here in the US we have maybe 20 yrs or less to get this socialist garbage straighten out. I'm guessing that I'm one of the last generations to get a no-nonsense education (born in 1960) so over the next 20 years all of our wise elders will be either too old or gone to educated and change the culture of our citizens. We'll be left with generations of indoctrinated idiots to run our country. We are making progress here in the US. The miners, hunters, fishermen and off-road guys are uniting. We also have a very important presidential election coming in 2016 and it seems that the tide is changing. Lets us hope our heritage and lands remain open to the people.

I have visited the US twice, 2011 & 2013, you guys are at the turning point Australia was in 1987 to 1989, The green scumbag socialists won the war here and put many Miners, Farmers and small Australian owned companies out of existence! Since then they have continued to sell our Country to foreign owned interests, most of the Aussie Bogans have no idea what they have lost over the last 25 years and continue to vote in evil intent governments which have hidden agendas.

One thing i learnt visiting your country is you guys are way more organised then us and way better at sticking up for your rights! Best of luck in the battle!
As next year is a federal election make sure you vote out Obama / Hillary Clinton before they send your country to the wall. ;)

I love the way the Greens say they stand up for the environment. Yet the various mines, just keep on getting bigger, deeper and wider than ever. Yet solitary prospector is regarded as vermin.

If the Greens and all the other political Trolls, made as much effort and noise about looking after the people and attacked the blizzard of drugs that have deluged us, as they do about 'gay' marriage; the country would be a much better place.

And people wonder why I refuse to vote. What an utter farce and hoax we have had foisted upon us!

I truly believe we are turning right in the US. The socialist disguised as democrats / environmentalists have had their day and now that many of their polices and regulations have hit and hurt mainstream Americans; we've had enough. The US was founded on limited government, our constitution and the bill of rights which "They" have been suppressing for decades. If the miners, hunters, fishermen and ATV people continue to unite and work together we can throw these criminals out and dismantle many federal agencies and bring the power back to the States. It is going to be dog fight but that's fine with us. Stay strong Wal and thanks for your wisdom and support.

Just one more thing, my Canadian friends love the video, but many have sent me a PM expressing their feelings towards liberty because they were too scared to post publicly... That's a shame.

SunriseBoy, I'm afraid that none of this is new. Environmentalism was created centuries ago by Karl Marx, Frederick Engles, Vladimir Lenin and others and used the environment to control the masses in ways to concentrate power and wealth. There are many books on the subject and reading a few will give you a much better understanding of what we're up against.

Never give up your right to vote; it's no little thing.

Problem is these days we have countries full of extremists for both the Left and Right, I consider myself a Centrist who can actually see things for what they are without being blinded by ideology and political rhetoric. Both sides tell so many lies and tell them so often that people do start believing them.

Wal's correct, the uni's here are full of brainwashed "do-gooders" (not all but most) who don't have any idea on real life outside of uni. They have large rent-a-crowds who are well connected through their uni's and social media and are quite mobile and vocal, a lot will resort to violence when anyone with opposite views wants to have a say and voice their opinion.

My b***y oath Heatho. That what I don't like about the 'body politic'. If you have an opposite view, they want to bash you. Sounds just like Oz.

And RotGrug, I was aware of this stuff in the late 60s. I'm too aware of the way corporations own and manipulate govts. As to reading more about it. No thanks. And I'm also only too aware of what all nations are up against. It's called corrupt human nature, a topic on which Machiavelli wrote extensively. You ought to read what he said about it all. And now, all the 'swinging dicks' use the very protocols that were suggested; only now, whole countries are bought and sold as commodities.

Avarice and power are two things of which I am, regrettably, too aware.

The Monkey Conundrum,
.
Get a cage with a set of stairs and put 15 monkeys in it.
When they have settled in, Hang a Banana at the top of the stairs.
The Monkeys will try to get to the Banana. When they do try, Belt the crap out of them.
After a while the monkeys will learn not to get the Banana, They will stop trying.
Take one Monkey out and replace him with a new one.
When the new one goes for the Banana, The others will belt the crap out of him to stop him.
Gradually over time, You have replaced all the Monkeys and none of them will try for the Banana.
They have no idea as to why they should not try for the Banana.
.
The solution. ??
Toss the whole lot out and start again.
.
I for get who wrote this but does it sound Familiar. ??
One of the best ways I have seen written on how politics are run. :D :D :D

Good call. The only problem is you are only replacing the old monkey's behaviour with just the same mind set.

Thanks for posting Rotgrub. Well done and powerful.
From my experience, most people just want to get on with their lives and be left alone. Most are also prepared to go along with 'good' laws and do the 'right thing' by their country, their neighbours and the world in general. The trouble is that those of us that are in 'silent majority' group don't stand up to the 'squeaky wheel greens and so called do-gooders' who want to lock everything up and close everything down that doesn't fit their way of thinking. And our pollies for the most part don't have the b.lls to stand up and be counted.
More power to those of the silent majority that demand their freedom to speak and pursue their lifestyles without being howled down as destroyers, red necks or out of touch with community expectations!

There's a curious thing, from my perspective, about speaking out on news-sites. I've been banned from commenting on news.com.au, The Drum and another one, the name escapes me presently.

If there is any negative opinion or oposition to the femocrats the 'gays' or the greens...you are dead meat!

And as to the idea that Oz is a free country, as in freedom of expression etc., it's apparent, people who believe that, have never really tried to have their opinions heard in many forums in this country. The strictures and controls put on various media outlets and forums is wonderfully pathetic.

The silent majority is begging to rumble in the US. Most of us work, pay taxes and are lawful people. We don't have time to protest and insist that everyone lives according to their socialist views. Their plan is to divide and conquer; race vs race, rich vs poor, right vs left. We even see this between miner vs fishermen, hunter vs ATV etc... but it seem we've gotten past that and the Outdoorsmen are uniting. In the US there is over 80 million hunters, fishermen, miners and ATV users that have finally seen through their plan. When they close a road or classify thousands of acres as national parks or sanctuaries' it hurts all outdoorsmen. Together we are much stronger than arguing trivial issues amongst ourselves as intended by the socialists.

Sounds like you are wasting your time on the wrong sites. Remember, websites and other digital venues are owned and operated by people with specific views. They have the right to ban anyone for any reason. It's no different in the US. Go to a liberal site and start posting liberty and states rights and you're gone.

It's not rock science, nor is it a conspiracy. The US parks have to be closed up to protect YOGI.

I believe in you YOGI. All the others are just being silly.

Your wisdom is appreciated Wal. The country is revolting against any establishment politician; Republican or Democrat. The political establishment on both sides is freaking out. I predict that either Ted Cruse a constitutional conservative or Trump will be elected. We still have a long way to go and the ruling class should not be under estimated as their power and wealth is in jeopardy.

Follow the money, you will, and find the answer you seek, young Skywalker!

Not about what side, left, right or greens, it's about the money and our politicians are all corrupt and looking after their own futures not ours, just ask Bronie what it's all about, let them eat cake!

The politicians have almost got nothing to do with what's happening on the planet! They just appear to be doing it because they're in the limelight.

I was at a puppet show called the Tin-Tookies when I was a kid. Being a very curious type I made my way to the side to watch what was going on.

After a couple of minutes an old chap who was also watching, took a long draw on his cigarette and said to me, 'Never mind the what the puppets are doing, it's the puppeteers that you've got to keep you eye on'.

The pollies are just stooges choking back the gravy and cream.

If you believe the pollies have anything to do with running whatever country they come from you are an even bigger fool than I am.

Just to make a point; go read up on how, when and why Suharto came to be president in Indonesia. Then go do some background reading on these 'outfits'; they can hardly be called countries: Angola, Uganda, Somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia etc. Then check out: Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Honduras.

Then read (and get the DVD) 'On Company Business' by Phillip Agee. Former CIA operative who blew the whistle on 'The Company' and what they did to have Allende murdered in broad daylight on the balcony of the Presidential Palace.

The politicians are just the lap-dogs and, now consumate gun-runners, of the real movers and shakers on the planet. i.e. lawyers, bankers, financiers and other low-life wheeler-dealers and fixers.

I shouldn't laugh, it's not fair when you get your toys taken away. I can say that we in Oz have the toys thrown at us. You end up waking up in the morning thinking "do I have to do this"? I actually met a politician last time I was in Canberra who's job was to go ask the mining companies what they wanted.

You call it play time, I call it work. Here's a link to where I used to work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtA0p09SE6o
and another of some explosions in that area https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlNoQoR2-fs
