I have been searching for a video to show how the spike is driven into the soil. A friend and fellow detectorist shared the following news article with me. In a pleasant surprise I learnt that the spike device was designed by an Australian. Super cool. It is shown at the 1 minute 25 second mark in the video in this article.

LOL. I think ya got ya days mixed up. It was pushed back by 1 day about a week ago.

I didn't see when it was pushed back , but I checked a few days ago and the Russians launch was next and 9 days away.. When I next checked , there was a Spacex launch in 2 days time, then it went back to the Russians in 7 days(spacex delayed?)... Then spacex in 9hrs after I checked yesterday.... then Yesterday afternoon, it was Spacex's launch in 1day 9hrs away... Very confusing to say the least. That's why I said that Spacex's has snuck in a Launch..

I use Space Insiders.com.....

And to add to the confusion (I just checked), the next launch is the HYSS from the Indians, then the Russian Soyuz. No mention of Spacex... What tha.. :8

I use a few sources. A couple of apps... Launch alarm. Spacex now. Plus twitter and reddit feeds.

Looks like the CRS-16 mission from Spacex has been bumped to next Wednesday. However the SSO-A launch is on this Sunday. 5.30 AM NSW time.

The CRS-16 is a resupply mission to the ISS. Here is a short video of some of the experiments etc that are on board.

A Falcon 9 launch this morning at 5.30. This is a rideshare mission with over 60 small satelites on board. This is a pretty specisl mission as it will be the 3rd flight to space and back for this first stage. Amazing really. Another first for Spacex.

They usually go live 15 minutes before launch. Link below.
I believe the Everyday Astronaut will go live an hour before launch. I am at work so I wont be able to watch him.
