We think it's the base of a fancy door knocker so you were in the right area.

Had a couple of hours with Rocket today then hit the block next door where the council are diggin holes. Top row of coins was with Rocket. Bottom row from next door. The buckle with a bit of leather attached came from next door as well. Not a bad arvo.

That's two victory medals now, you made up for the previous damaged one. The 1938 florin isn't one that you see very often, a couple of rings worth of silver in that.

Actually my 3rd victory medal GP. Got o e with the Pro last year. This one us in the best condition.

Woo hoo. More treasures from next door. My first lead toy and a Chinese coin. One penny and the thrip were definately in soil dug up by the machines. Being able to slip the bottom shift off the Deus to scan the piles of soil is pretty handy.

Yes all I keep thinking about is the treasures carted away in trucks. I've found a dozen or so good finds. Twice that many gone....
