Might have to get out of town a bit for some of the older stuff, there seems to be quite a few detectorists around the Newcastle area possibly working the same areas. Have you been over many of your previously detected sites yet?

Every spot we go to we have been to before. I get around yes there are a lot of guys going o er the same sites. Gotta dry up eventually.

BOOM BABY! The DEUS has produced my first Rising Sun badge. Woo hoo. This site has to given many coins but the relics have been amazing.
Also got my first Co plate bottle. I think there may be a bit of a dump or pit... lots of broken glass. I got some very larg e chunks of lead, probably the most lead from one hunt.

GOLD BABY!!!!!! My first ever gold ring. Stoked. Not a lot of coins in this site but it sure has some outstanding relics. I reckon I have well over 2 kilos of lead alone.
Got a button from Birmingham Buttons Ltd. It may be silver by the weight and how the gunk is coming off it.

I grabbed it out pretty quick before it ran away. Left my video cam in the car as it was lightly raining. Bugger.

Yes definately needs grinding. So much in there. Some huge, deep targets. Need a backhoe.
