A mate just sent me a photo of a very nice nugget (insert drool here) that he found today. I asked what coil and depth, but told him I didn't need to know where as his photo had the GPS coordinates which showed he'd photographed it where he found it (I use Adobe Photoshop Elements which shows the meta-data). It was a place where we had both found gold before, so it didn't surprise me. I advised him to disable phone location services (under settings - privacy) in the future and not send that photo to anyone else except family. I turned location to "never" for camera on my iPhone when I bought it some years back, however it might be fun to turn it back on and take the photo in the local pub - then publish it widely - might be great for the publican. I'm a mischevious pr-one-ck.
