A nice day out in the Parklands yesterday....

A couple of toy relics...

A few nice buttons, especially the military service one.

Coupla halfpennies..

Some unusual brass bits..

When I brushed the dirt off these, I thought I was on a nugget patch layful:

This is a unusual find... a brass geocache capsule. I think these are meant to be tied up above ground, not buried??

That cap with the anchor on it is the end of an old battery torch.

I was thinking some sort of medicinal jar lid, but a torch end cap, well thats different.

Well, I had a productive couple of early mornings in the sand since the crowds descended on the local beaches over Australia Day.
Its been oppressively hot and humid here and I havent seen so many taking to the water in ages.
So out with the Multi Kruzer for a few hours fun.

All costume except for these.

Mostly fresh drops in the dry sand...
