Here in WA, technically you are not allowed to prospect on reserves, however I have seen heaps of guys doing it. I think it depends on the local council, generally speaking.

Got out again today to a reserve which was once a 1800s farm.

I have headed north in search of new territory with the basic needs...
Found a nice little town with some history and good camping, so I set up for a couple of days.

Aaaah ****, that's gonna ruin my day tomorrow! There's some awesome old buildings in South Oz, wish I had a detector when I lived there 10 years ago. That Eyre Peninsula sandstone is the ultimate building material!

So, according to googles Latin to English translation we have your heart, son of Pharisee with ROME at the bottom

and Pains on the other side.

Interesting find OzzieAu. Are you using your 5000 or a nox or something else?

Im using my Nokta Simplex+..... best budget coin and relic machine on the market :Y:
That medallion in the links above was found with it, as are the majority of my finds.
I also have a higher end Multi Kruzer which gets a run less often now.

Flinders Ranges sandstone Dave...

Got out early this morning to a new spot and decided my strategy with the Simplex was to dig only SOLID high tones.... no time wasting on the iffy scratchy signals ( I know I could be leaving desirable stuff behind ).
Well this is the result.... the Simplex loves this brass/copper stuff. No coins today though :(
