Out n about for a few hours this morning to an old farm site
Not real sure about the age of the place but no one has lived there for the past 10 years
It is all but on the ground and the amount of wire and iron around is almost unbelievable
Not a lot of coins found but one of them made up for it
But first ....

Maybe they used to eat out a lot :lol:

The guts of the watch was the first target. I hoped to find the case too , but it didnt turn up

If anyone collects bathurst related items , send me a PM

A few coppers ...surprisingly in pretty good condition too
These two are the best for the day

The ICE token is from Cessnock
The florin is a bit rough but its still a great find .... it sure made my day

I finally got out n about for hunt yesterday arvo after work
Not my favourite kind of conditions... freezing cold howling wind :N:
( but you gotta do what you gotta do) :lol:
One of my permission sites ...
a few mixed pennys ( one flattened '48 roo), couple of little silvers and heap more mail bag seals

Happy to get a pair of threepences

At last i can see some detail on a couple of these lead seals

Now to see if i can figure out more about their history.
But first out for another hunt .... then gotta read through everyones posts ive been missing
