I would give anything to have this behind me and be back representing my country. But I meant what I said about taking full responsibility as Captain of the team. I wont be challenging the sanctions. Theyve been imposed by CA to send a strong message and I have accepted them.

Warner flew to Melbourne yesterday and told journalists at the airport that he planned to meet with advisers as there were significant issues to discuss, and he has until 5pm tomorrow to advise CA of his intentions in relation to the sanctions.

These guys make more money through endorsements than they do from match fees. Winners are grinners and the more successful you are the more you can demand from sponsors. They stood to make more money from a win than from a loss.

I am amazed really, the overly harsh punishment, shaming, and upset to their families. Let's consider the far less punishments, and shaming that footballers get for much bigger crimes! Ok, these guys got caught cheating a little....nobody got injured, assaulted, or sent to hospital. It's just sickening, the media harassment, beatups, players crying, and our PM having a go.....stick to doing your job mate, politics has no say in sport.
