Had a pretty ordinary night to start off with, first location ticked every box regarding age and setting, but after a couple trips here, still no luck.
Second spot was a regular haunt, but tried to concentrate on all those iffy targets that gave a hint of high conductivity. Turns out it worked, working over areas which I was reasonably sure of not having too many more goodies, I managed to score a 1946 Florin, a worn 1912 Shilling, 1943 sixpence, a cool 1906 british sixpence, and one toasted roo half penny (can't read the date).
I ended up gridding up the particular spot producing the silvers in both directions, to hopefully help unmask anything hidden coins amongst the junk and iron targets, didn't get much more other than a few BB's.
Not sure what the pictured chunk of lead is from, but the surface is textured and may have been part of something else - a toy maybe.??
