Just wanted to say hi am looking at getting into detecting and gold finding if anyone from brisbane is into panning ect and knows some good spots to try and doest mind sharing feel free to let me know

Welcome 8-ball....your heading into quite an addictive pastime, and Brisbane is close to many locations to satisfy that addiction. Plenty of guys here in your area that can steer you in the right general direction. Hi 8-ball, welcome There's a few from Brisbane that head out to Glendon just pass Warwick. Another spot to try would be the Prophet mine at Kilkivan. They have a pile of wash there for panning. You take your bucket of wash to the tubs and pan it out there. John (the owner and champion panner) will show you how things are done. Down the road a k is the Kilkivan bush camping grounds, highly recommended. Good luck Mick
