Very enjoyable thread ... im sure most can relate to Barney , I was told very early that once you see gold you will never mistake it .. and sure enough I never miss took it again after finally panning a speck. .. well except when I spotted a 20c piece size in 3 foot of cold winter Oberon water , stripped down to the reggies and waded excitedly in with no regard for the frozen factor ,, only to retrieve a dam trout lure . No pain no gain I guess lol
