Hi everyone, Does anyone have suggestions for gold detecting for a newbie + family close to mid-north coast NSW?

I have tried google, looked at maps (which is baffling to interpret) & now asking for help. Willing to drive up to 4 hours from Port Macquarie.

Thank you for any suggestions
