I'm hoping I can get a point in the right direction.
I live in Howqua inlet and am looking for somewhere out this way, maybe Jamieson or Kevington, I'm open to ideas to go gold detecting. I have been googling, reading articles, forums etc.. and I'm finding it hard to get a straight answer. Does anyone know a spot around this area a newby could try out a detector?
I do realise that gold prospecting is banned in nearly all the rivers here so we're not looking to do that at all.
