Long point crossing

Hi
Just wondering if anyone did the Long Point to Hill End Macquarie river crossing over the Long weekend and if so what was the crossing like?
Thinking of taking the young fella up to Hill End to do some prospecting this weekend

Don't know about the Orange side but on the Hill End/Mudgee side there's usually signs up if its closed. They were up a few weeks ago from memory but I didn't notice them on Sunday when I was on Dixons Long Point Rd - wasn't really looking for them though.
Hill End Visitors Centre (02) 6337 8206 may know?

Thanks guys think i'll just head out this weekend and have a look. We havent had much rain so should be sweet

Hopefully find some nice gullies up Hill End way to do a bit of panning
